Durable Blade

This stunning 9-inch blade has a VG-MAX steel cutting core with 34 outer layers of stainless steel that create the detailed Damascus design. The layered cladding supports and protects the extremely hard core, which helps keep the edge sharp use after use.

This Shun 9 bread knife also features razor-sharp, wide, “low frequency” serrations. The serrations let you gently cut through the bread without crushing and with fewer crumbs.

Comfortable Grip

The knife has a D-shaped ebony pakka wood handle thats designed to tuck into the palm of your hand. It gives you the maximum amount of control over the knife by eliminating more of the space between your hand and the handle.
