Description

The OXO Good Grips 6″ Smooth Potato Masher is a specialized tool designed for professional kitchens that prioritize consistent, lump-free textures in vegetable purees and side dishes. This model features a fine-grid stainless steel mashing plate that forces ingredients through small apertures for a uniform result. Its 6″ width provides a broad surface area, allowing prep cooks to process larger batches in stainless steel bowls or steam table pans with fewer strokes, saving valuable time during busy service windows.

The mashing plate is fabricated from high-grade stainless steel to resist bending and corrosion under the pressure of dense, starchy vegetables. The handle features the signature OXO non-slip grip, which absorbs pressure and provides a secure hold even when hands are wet or oily. This ergonomic orientation significantly reduces hand fatigue during high-volume prep shifts.

The stainless steel construction is fully dishwasher safe, ensuring that the tool can be sanitized quickly between tasks. Beyond potatoes, It’s an excellent choice for mashing beans for spreads or crushing berries for dessert coulis, making it a versatile asset for various stations. This masher is a reliable, professional-grade solution for any commercial establishment seeking to produce high-quality, smooth textures with manual precision.
