Description

The Hoshizaki KM-116BAK is a professional-grade solution for establishments requiring a compact footprint without sacrificing ice quality. This air-cooled machine produces up to 130 Lbs. of signature crescent ice daily, characterized by its unique shape that ensures excellent liquid displacement and minimal splashing. The self-contained design features a 53 Lbs. storage bin, providing a steady supply of crystal-clear ice.

Efficiency is at the core of this model, featuring the CycleSaver design which allows the unit to produce the same amount of ice in about half as many cycles as competitive brands. The front-in, front-out airflow system permits the machine to be built into cabinetry or positioned in tight spaces without risking overheating. This layout optimizes floor space while maintaining high performance.

Durability and ease of maintenance are guaranteed through the stainless steel evaporator and exterior surfaces. The EverCheck alert system provides audible notifications for potential issues, allowing managers to address service needs before they impact daily operations. Utilizing R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit meets modern environmental standards while remaining an energy-efficient asset for any foodservice business.

• Restaurant Size Recommendation: For small-scale operations, “hole-in-the-wall” bars, or as a secondary ice station in large facilities.
• Maintenance Advice: Regularly clean the removable air filter. Professional descaling of the evaporator and water system every 6 months.
